If you do not use synchronization of progress via Facebook (or iCloud on iOS) to save your progress online, all you need to do is to reinstall the game. This way your progress will be deleted from your device and you will start a new game.
Important: we have a progress backup system that saves your progress on our servers and offers to restore it if you reinstall the game. You will need to reject the automatic restoration offer that appears when you open the game after reinstallation. Note that it may appear more than once and will disappear completely after you reach XP level 6.
If you use the synchronization via Facebook, your progress is linked to your Facebook account and saved online. You need to sign in an absolutely new Facebook account in the game settings. It will create a new player and you will start from level 1. Just in case you change your mind, you can sign in to your previous Facebook account in the game and it will load your older game progress.
If you use Facebook synchronization and want to use the same Facebook account after you start from scratch, then contact our support team and they will help you.
Important: list of friends and previous game progress will be lost since we will need to clear records related to your Facebook account so you can use it as a new one.
If you use the synchronization via iCloud, your progress is linked to your Apple ID and is saved in the iCloud. To start a new game, you need to clear the data for Cradle of Empires in your iCloud. Here is how: Open the Settings of your device > Tap your Apple ID banner > iCloud > Manage Storage > Cradle of Empires Match-3 Game > Delete Data. Please note that the progress you deleted cannot be restored.
