If you do not use synchronization of progress via Facebook (or iCloud on iOS) to save your progress online, you only need to do the following:

1 - Uninstall the game and install it again.This way your progress will be deleted from your device.
2 - Once you open the game for the first time after re-installation, it will ask if you would like to load the level, please cancel it.

If you use the synchronization via Facebook, your progress is linked to your Facebook account and saved online. You need to sign in using an absolutely new Facebook account in the game settings. It will create a new player and you will start from level 1. Just in case you change your mind, you can sign in to your previous Facebook account in the game and it will load your older game progress.

Note: If you would like to start a new game and keep your previous Facebook account, it will require additional changes. Please contact our support team for help in this case. 

If you use the synchronization via iCloud, kindly note that it is an obsolete option and it is not available when you make a fresh installation of the game. So iCloud synchronization does not allow transfer progress and it is not recommended to continue using it. And it will not be active in your game if you reset progress. To reset progress you will need to do the following:

1 - Close the game.

2 - Clear the data for Cradle of Empires in your iCloud. Here is how:
Open the Settings of your device > Tap your Apple ID banner > iCloud > tap on Manage Storage/Storage bar > Cradle of Empires Match-3 Game > Delete Data From iCloud
Please note that your deleted progress won’t be possible to restore.

3 - Uninstall the game and install it again.

4 - Once you open the game for the first time after re-installation, it will ask if you would like to load the level, please cancel it. Then the game will start anew.

If you play on PC, your progress is backed up and restored if you reinstall it. Since the process is fully automatic, there is no easy way to reset progress. Please contact our support team  and they will help you to reset your progress and start from scratch.

If you play on Mac, then you will need to delete folder with game saves:

for High Sierra or lower Mac OS:
%UserName%\Library\Containers\com.awem.cradleofempires.mac\Data\Library\Application Support\Awem\Cradle Of Empires\

for Sequoia:
%UserName%\Library\Containers\Cradle Of Empires\Data\Library\Application Support\Awem\Cradle Of Empires\

%UserName% - your username on the Mac.
~/Library - hidden folder. To access it, first click the Go in the menu and then press and hold the Alt key on your keyboard. You will see that the Library folder will appear. Then follow the to your save as suggested above.

Then the game will start anew.
