Important: You must have the latest game version on both devices.
There are several ways to transfer progress:
1 - Via Facebook login (mobile devices only) .
If you used Facebook login, in most cases it is enough to log into Facebook in the game on your new device using the same account as before.
- Download the game from the store and install it on the new device.
- Make sure you have a stable Internet connection.
- Log in Facebook using the same account you used on the old device.
- Tap Yes to download your game progress. When you confirm your choice, the game progress will be transferred.
2 - Via QR code (mobile devices only).
If you did not use Facebook and have access to both your old and new devices, you can transfer your game progress using a QR Code option. Here are the steps:
- Install the Cradle of Empires app on your new device.
- Open the game on your old device and go to Settings > Transferring Progress.
- Scan the displayed QR code using your new device's camera.

- Once the QR code is successfully scanned, your game progress will be transferred to the new device.

Important:
- Access to Facebook services can be restricted in certain countries or regions. In such cases, we comply with local laws and regulations.
- iCloud synchronization is an obsolete option and it is not available when you make a fresh installation of the game. It may still be active for old players while they continue playing but it does not allow to transfer progress to your new device or restore it on your old device.
- If you lost progress please contact our support team from within the game.
- QR Code and Facebook options aren't available for Windows and Mac. Please follow instructions described in the articles for Windows and Mac.
