IMPORTANT! If you disable iCloud synchronization and have not enabled synchronization via Facebook, your game progress will not be saved in our Сloud, it will be saved only on your device.

You have to enable the Internet connection and iCloud synchronization in the game settings to save your game using iCloud. Your game progress will be linked to your iCloud.
How can I transfer my game progress?
Here is how to transfer your game progress:
- Enable iCloud in your device settings. Make sure you use the same Apple ID.
- Download the game from the store and install it on the new device.
- Open the game on the new device and reach XP level 5.
- Make sure you have a stable internet connection.
- Enable iCloud synchronization in the game settings.
NOTE: The downloaded game progress will completely replace your current progress.
There's a number of requirements:
- You must have the latest game version on both devices
- Both devices must meet the minimum system requirements
I connected to iCloud but can't recover my game (iOS)
Your game progress is linked to your iCloud. You have to enable Internet Connection and iCloud synchronization in the game settings to restore your game progress.
If you can't restore your game, please try the following steps:
1 – Make sure your Internet connection is enabled and you have a stable signal (for example, you are not far from your modem if you are using Wi-Fi).
2 – Make sure that iCloud is set up on your device. Please see this article for help: https://support.apple.com/HT208681.
3 – Make sure the time on your device is set automatically:
- Settings > General > Date & Time > Automatically (Enable it)
4 – Make sure your are not running out free space on your device.
5 – Swipe the game away as described here: https://support.apple.com/HT201330, open it again and see if it helps.
Why is iCloud synchronization option grayed out? I can't enable it.
There can be several reasons for this:
- iCloud is disabled on your device. Make sure that iCloud is set up on your device. Please see this article for help: https://support.apple.com/HT208681.
- You have disabled Cradle of Empires application in the iCloud settings. Make sure it’s enabled to use iCloud synchronization.
