I play on PC and cannot make purchases in the game. What should I do?

If you're having trouble making purchases in the game, in most cases it happens because of poor Internet connection or issues on the store side.

IMPORTANT: If a blank screen appears, please do not close it. Wait a minute or two (sometimes more) as it may need time to proceed with the purchase. Delays on Microsoft servers are quite frequent and if you see a blank screen in most cases it is enough to wait. 

Please try these steps:

  • Close the game: Press the ESC button on your keyboard when you are in the City View and choose the option to exit the game. Or move the cursor to the top right corner or the screen to see the option to exit the game.
  • Log out your Microsoft account in the Microsoft store application.
  • Restart your computer.
  • Open the game and try to buy it once again. It will ask you to sign in your Microsoft account here.

Refresh your Internet connection:

  1. Reboot your modem.
  2. Ensure you are connected to the Internet and you have a stable signal once again (for example, you are not far from your modem).
  3. Re-open the game and try to buy it once again.

Please make sure your payment method is configured and is up-to-date, see detailed instructions on Microsoft help pages.
