I plan to buy a new device/ I have got a new device and want to transfer progress. What should I do?

If you have access to both your old and new devices, you can transfer your game progress using a QR Code option. Here are the steps:

NOTE: QR Code option isn't available for Windows and Mac. Please send your Support IDs to our support team as instructed below.

  1. Install the Cradle of Empires app on your new device.
  2. Open the game on your old device and go to Settings > Transferring Progress.
  3. Scan the displayed QR code using your new device's camera.
  4. Once the QR code is successfully scanned, your game progress will be transferred to the new device.

If you encounter any issues or difficulties transferring your game process, please contact our support team for assistance. Don’t forget to include your Support ID to help us resolve your issue quickly.

First of all you need to save your current Support ID so our team can help you transfer progress. Open the game on your old device > open settings > Support ID is at the bottom of settings window. We will need the ID shown on the screenshot below to be able to help you fast. It is unique for each device and will help us identify your progress.

You can save it the following way:

1 - Write it down. Please make sure you save this record until progress is transferred to the new device. Be careful as your record must be an exact copy of the ID in the game.

2 - Take a screenshot. See how here

3 - Take a photo using your new/other device. The ID must be readable on the photo you made.

If you do not have your new device yet, then just save this record/screenshot for later use. Once you get your new device, please send us a message from within the game on it:

 

If your new device is an iOS one: 

- Open the game > Tap Settings > Help and Support > Tap the pencil button (upper right corner)

- Describe the situation, attach the photo you made on step 1 and tap Send.

 

If your new device is an Android one:

- Open the game > Tap Settings > Help and Support > Tap the round button (lower right corner)

- Describe the situation, attach the photo you made on step 1 and tap Send.

 

If your new device is Mac or Windows PC:

- Open the game > Click Settings > Help and Support > Write to us

- In the email that opens describe the situation and attach the photo or screenshot of the settings screen on your old device and send email. 

 

Important: If paperclip button does not work or you can not attach image for some other reason, then please send it to support@awem.com Please mention your ticket ID, you can find it in the automatic reply that is created after you send us a request from your new device.It starts with #
